Unless noted, all events are held in the Rehearsal Room at the Bloomington Center for the Arts, 1800 West Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington, Minnesota. Evening dances run from 7-9 pm and Sunday dances from 2:15 to 5 (as noted).

Thursday, March 13: Get Your Green On!
Green is the color for St. Patrick's Day and for our club! Find something green to wear and come dance with us! Larry Fruetel will call Mainstream and Doug Brodeen will cue between tips. In addition, we will have several decades worth of pictures and memorabilia on hand to look at and take home, from Spares and Pairs and square dancers over the years.
Sunday, April 6: Dance in the Daylight!
We're starting up Sunday afternoon dances! The afternoon starts at 2:15 with a Mainstream workshop with (scheduled) caller Larry Fruetel. Workshop dancers are expected to be familiar with all Mainstream calls when they arrive. Angels will be happily welcomed. Then, at 3:30, we'll dance Mainstream until 5 pm. Please note that we are not yet offering round dancing at our Sunday dances.
Thursday, April 10: Spring In Your Step
You could bring your Z-CoiL shoes (the ones with coil springs in the heels) and have literal springs in your step. Or you could bring your most comfortable dancing shoes and join us for Mainstream dancing and rounds on April 10th. Larry Fruetel will cover the calling, starting at 7 pm, and Doug Brodeen will cue between tips until 9.
(tentative) Sunday, May 11: Fishing Widows Unite!
Yes, it's Mother's Day. And Fishing Opener. Lots going on. But if you just want to dance, our doors will be open. Similar format as on April 6.
Thursday, May 8: (theme to be determined)
Larry Fruetel will cover the calling and Doug Brodeen will cue between tips.
Sunday, June 8: Another Sunday dance
Practice that call you just can't get or just limber up on the weekend before the Minnesota State Square Dance Convention! Larry Fruetel calling. This dance also follows our regular Sunday format.
Thursday, June 12: No dance
It's Minnesota State Square Dance Convention weekend. Our convention is to not dance this week, to allow our dancers and visitors the most flexibility in attending the convention. Come join us in July!
Dates, times, and performers are not guaranteed.. We will update this space as soon as we can as necessary.
